Who We Are
Robert Rust started in the carwash industry in 2008. He now has five flex-service carwashes in Virginia and South Carolina, operating under the White Horse & Liquid Highway brands with others in varying forms of development. His experience includes ground-up development, and acquisition and reposition. Mr. Rust is also a principal of Iron Ox Development Corporation, which is a family entity focused on commercial real estate and is a licensed real estate broker in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. Before starting White Horse, Mr. Rust worked for a real estate private equity firm acquiring retail shopping centers and parking garages. The firm also represented retail tenants in search of space, responsible for tenant roll-outs and expansion strategies. Mr. Rust started his career as an analyst with Goldman, Sachs and Co. where he worked in the Asset Management division in their Philadelphia office. Mr. Rust has degrees from Virginia Tech and the London School of Economics.
Dominic Lewinsohn is new to Iron Fox and extremely excited about the potential for growth both nationally and internationally in the Tunnel Carwash industry. Dominic is a strong believer in identifying great partners, hiring and developing amazing people, creating and implementing strong processes, excellent systems and takes most pride in exceptional execution. Dominic was a co-founder at Prospect 33 which grew from a start up in New York City, to a global consultancy in North America, Europe and Asia. Previously he was the sole owner of a small restaurant group in Park City, Utah, worked as a national director of operations at a restaurant chain and served as brand development officer for a California restaurant concept. Dominic Lewinsohn earned his bachelor’s degree from the Conrad N Hilton School of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston. Dominic has served at board level for The Fidelity International Jazz Festival, University of Utah ENT Cancer Foundation and Mountain Town Music. Dominic ran the Olympic torch at the Salt Lake Winter Games and completed the Ogden Marathon.

When human beings experience great trauma in their life, they sometimes take that life event and turn it into an amazing beginning. I am that person. If excellence is possible, good is not enough and that is what I strive for each day. I love getting people excited about the things I’m excited about. Right now, that’s any and everything in the carwash industry! Outside of the office, I’m committed to my children, family, and community, and am always looking to brush up my networking skills over coffee or drinks. I am a very goal driven, meticulous, and a hard-working individual who is very passionate about learning, educating, and helping others. I communicate with ease and absolutely love to network! I am experienced, resourceful, and dependable in all aspects. I have an extensive knowledge in leadership, communication, accounting, payroll, managing, marketing, advertising, and collections. I utilize strong research, planning and organizational skills. I work for an amazing company that allows me to show my clients’ what excellence in customer service and communication should look like. I look forward to building relationships with all our clients, as well as establishing new relationships in all areas.
James Bridges joined Iron Fox in 2018 as a Development Analyst. Since joining Iron Fox James has assisted existing carwash operators and new entrepreneurs in site selection, volume estimates, carwash design and layout, equipment and chemical selection. James has also assisted operators in redesigning site and tunnel layouts to improve efficiency and customer experience. James developed and implemented an operational training program for new entrepreneurs entering the industry. Prior to joining Iron Fox James worked for a boutique investment firm in which he created a secondary market for companies to buy and sell Federal Communications Commission (FCC) spectrum licenses. James brings to Iron Fox over 10 years of management experience in the automotive retail and repair sector. He graduated from Longwood University, Magna Cum Laude, with a BS degree in Business Administration.
Candace is new to Iron Fox and new to the carwash industry. She comes with 15+ years of Accounting experience and has been heavily involved in improving business processes and efficiencies in her past roles and she is excited to apply that knowledge at Iron Fox! Candace has always loved numbers and doing puzzles, so Accounting and processes is a natural fit for her. Candace earned her B.S. – Accounting as well as a B.B.A – Marketing, from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is a licensed CPA. Candace spent a short time on the Board of Directors for The ARC and is passionate about improving the lives of physically and mentally handicapped individuals. On her down time, you will find her cooking, going to the beach, or hanging out with her husband and daughter. Candace is really excited to be a part of the Iron Fox team and can’t wait to be a part of its continued growth and success in the future!
Field Installation Supervisor
Jay Florence started working in the carwash industry in 2012 as a crew member providing aftercare services. In March of 2014 Jay was promoted to the GM at the White Horse Woodbridge location. In January 2016 Jay was promoted to Director of Maintenance for all of the White Horse locations. While serving as the Director of Maintenance Jay customized a Preventative Maintenance program for all of the White Horse locations, the same program is in place today. In 2017 Jay transitioned from White Horse to Iron Fox to serve as the Lead Installer. Since joining Iron Fox Jay has lead crews in complete tunnel installations, removed and replaced components, and provided diagnostics and repairs for carwash operators in Maryland and Virginia. Jay’s skills include welding, electrical, plumbing, programming, and diagnostics.
Digital Content Manager
After attending the University of Kentucky, Austin worked for a real estate investment firm helping clients build out their future space to their exact needs. Next was managing large accounts for a nationwide supplier, before founding and creating a website. Austin now uses his knowledge of website design and marketing to make sure that your business has the correct digital footprint.
Henry Weinschenk started in the carwash industry in 1979, designing and building state-of-the-art carwashes in Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee. In 1983 he became CEO and major owner, of Express Car Wash Company, Inc., based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Mr. Weinschenk pioneered the design of attractive, architecturally designed, customer friendly, car wash facilities. He developed and implemented, the first monthly-pass concept in the industry. Later on, he used his strong analytical skill to develop a model — based on demographics — to predict the potential car wash volume at any given street address in the U.S. Prior to his involvement in the car wash industry, Mr. Weinschenk was a corporate executive at United Parcel Service (UPS) managing the department that planned and designed, parcel distribution facilities, including their very complex package sorting equipment. In addition to his experience at corporate headquarters, he also served on the executive start-up team for UPS in Europe. Mr. Weinschenk has a degree in electrical engineering, with a minor in mechanical engineering.
